Ok, so moving in a year is going to take a lot of work. I need to pay down my credit card debt, pay off half of my student loans, either fix up my car or purchase a new one and have about 8K in savings. I feel like I need to list the benchmarks I need to meet in order to pull off this relocation.
Situation as of 8/1:
Credit Cards
CC 1 - $904
CC 2 - $582
CC 3 - $708
CC 4 - $ 492
CC Total = $2686
Student Loans
SL 1 - 5246.47
SL 2 - 1077.16
SL 3 - 7093.00
SL Total = $13416.63
I will pay off SL 2, the other ones I would like to pay in half.
To achieve the debt goals I will need a second job. This will start my list.
1) Create Strict, realistic budget.
2) Get a TAM Card (this will allow me to get a second job bartending or serving, which have the highest income potential)
3) Research part time jobs
4) Apply for jobs
5) Get job
6) Focus on CC debt (see List 2)
7) Focus on SL 2
Lets Start with these.
List 2 - Debt Benchmarks
1) Have a balance under $2250 by September 1
2) Have balance of under $1750 by November 1
3) Have balance of under $ 1250 by January 1
4) Have balance of under $750 by March 1
5) Have balance under $250 by May 1
6) Have a ZERO balance by June 1
